Whistler 2007

This is my third straight year on the Annual Ski Trip. Two years ago it was Lake Tahoe (I didn't bring a camera to Tahoe) and last year it was Telluride, Colorado.

Both of those trips were fantastic. This year it was a little closer - Whistler, BC. Whistler is about a 4 1/2 hour drive from Seattle. It must be me since every year the weather has been incredible, as you can see in the picture. This year it was Ron (who organizes this thing every year), Joel, Brownie, Randy (who didn't go last year), Bob ( also a no-show last year) and myself. Joel, Ron and I did the bulk of the skiing. On day One we stayed on the Whistler side. Day Two I really hit my stride on the Blackcomb side (I like Blackcomb better than Whistler mostly because of the blue cruisers). Day Three was back to Blackcomb. On Super Bowl Sunday we only skied for about an hour back on Whistler. Rain was moving in and we wanted to join Randy in the bar to watch the game. Our condo unit was a ski-in ski-out and had one of the best and biggest hot tubes that I've ever used.

The skiing was excellent, especially in the morning with the fresh grooming. Ron is good at getting us up early to make the most of the day. We skied from about 8:30 to 3:30. A good day of skiing.

Can't wait until next year!
